About the 2023 fair:
The Art International Zurich art fair has come to a successful conclusion. Contemporary art from all over the world was presented at the Kongresshaus Zurich from 13 to 15 October 2023. During the past 25 years, the fair has built up an excellent reputation in the art scene.
The balanced combination of local and international artists and galleries with carefully selected works on attractively designed exhibition stands guarantees success with the Zurich art public. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the renowned fair, with many direct discussions about the works, provides low-threshold access to even high-priced works. The fair offered a wide range of contemporary art in different formats and price ranges.
It remained as popular as ever with the Zurich public, which visited the fair in large numbers. Once again, it was clear that despite all the digital possibilities, art needs proximity and real contact. On Friday, shortly after the opening, collectors and art lovers crowded the corridors of the Zurich Kongresshaus.
The audience was made up of art enthusiasts, collectors and art buyers, as well as critics, museum curators, journalists, bloggers and private individuals. Several art buyers were present, as well as public clients or internationally renowned gallery owners in search of the next shooting star. Visitors were mainly local and national, but increasingly international again after the years of the pandemic. There were also many exhibitors doing good business.
